COACHES

All coaches at BYF are volunteers; they are required to have yearly background checks and must take a coaching certification class, at their expense. BYF strives to team up new coaches with returning coaches where possible. We allow coaches to have their own coaching methods as long as they adhere to the BYF and MFFCC Code of Ethics. Please make sure to let your coach know how much you appreciate them.

CHEERLEADING PLACEMENT ON A TEAM

Players will be assigned to a team based on his/her age on August 1st.

Flag Cheerleader: 3 - 6 years of age

Mighty Mite Cheerleader: 7 - 8 years of age

Pee Wee Cheerleader: 9 - 10 years of age

Junior Cheerleader: 11 - 12 years of age

Senior Cheerleader: 13 - 14 years of age
